Brad Feld, a ridiculously successful VC, blogger, entrepreneur, you-name-it-er, is completely obsessed with the product – and that’s great, you absolutely need to be obsessed with your product.

Take it a step further though: be obsessed with the right parts of your product, the core. Pick the one thing your product stands for, the main reason someone would shell out his hard earned money to use it and obsess over that, let the less important details figure themselves out. Once you can’t tweak, polish or perfect any more move on to the next most important feature.

As you repeat this process you’ll be left with a collection of polished, well executed features that matter to your users.
